Sheffield United’s chief executive Trevor Birch has told fans to “pull together” in this difficult time at the club. Birch, in charge of finances at United, faces the difficult task of providing funds to help Micky Adams and the team survive in the Championship. “We are in a relegation fight and we have to get on with it,” Birch states in an official statement posted on the Blades website.
