A huge congratulations goes out to all players in South Yorkshire who were called up to England’s youth squad last week.
United’s Jordan Slew made a second half appearance as a substitute against Germany in the Under19s squad, held at Chesterfield’s ground, and had a couple of opportunities to equalise. Sadly Germany won the match 1-0.
Barnsley loan players Kieran Trippier and Jacob Mellis were both called up for international duty for England under 21s whilst Doncaster’s on-loan Rya Mason was called up for the England under20s game against France.
